3D renderings for a villa - rendered with VrayThis is one of a few renderings I've made for the concept design phase of a luxury villa in south of France for a danish client (Architect: Pernille Christensen).

Project for Virtuel - Paris 3D renderings and animation for the new Sephora store in Barcelona
These renderings date from before the 3DS Max and Vray era! At this time (1997) I worked on a Macintosh and used a software called Zoom 3D from Abvent to model the project. It was a good software (when it didn't crash) but had limited capabilities to model complex or organic shapes; That's why I used Amapi to model the hull shape of the upper floor.
In addition to 3D images I also created an animated 3D walkthrough with Electric Image to present the project to Sephora's investors.
3D model: Zoom 3D, Amapi

Project for Virtuel - ParisSnapshots from a 3D animation made to present a new stadium project to the public.
When I started working on this, most of the project was already modeled in Archicad. This was a big time saving, since I could import large parts of the model into Electric Image (EIAS) for the animation. Electric Image was a nice animation tool, but it lacked a 3D modeler, so I modeled some details and missing parts with Zoom 3D then imported them again. It took a month of hard work and countless hours of rendering using a "mini rendering farm" of 8 Power Macintosh to output a 3 minutes animation.

Architect: Alain Nicolas
3D model: Archicad
Animation: Electric Image Animation System
Video compositing: Adobe Premiere
Format: 3D animation
Length: 3 minutes

Alien Planet - Outer SpaceThis is quite old stuff now!
Alien Planet was a personal project I had worked on in 1998, using Strata StudioPro on a Macintosh to do the graphics and the animation. I had used the project as a support for a 3D course I used to give at IPECI training center in Paris.

Of course these images look completely outdated by todays 3D standards, but I like to keep them in my portfolio, as they represented quite an effort to produce in the early ages of 3D.

Amadeus s.a.s - Online Learning ServicesThis is one of the 3D renderings, I had done for the Amadeus Learning City project.
The project was first introduced at the annual marketing conference Focus 2000. I had made a 3D animation to present the concept. We also had distributed some postcards "Visit the Amadeus Learning City".

SARA. Automatic single use safety syringeThese are snapshots from a 3D animation I made to show the features of a medical syringe where the needle automatically retracts in the body of the syringe after use.
This system was designed to prevent possible contamination of medics when using syringes.
The entire project was modeled and rendered on a Power Macintosh
3D model: Zoom 3D
Animation: Electric Image Animation System

Olivier Tampon Lajariette and Pascal Cellier architects - Beaulieu FranceThese are 3D renderings I made for a public housing competition in Nice (France).
I handled the project entirely with Autocad Architecture and exported the model into 3DS Max to render the perspective view and the elevation.
Working the entire project in 3D from start, I was able to meet tight deadlines: about a week to model the project, create all the 2D documents, render the images and make the page layout.
I included screenshots of the 2 A0 panels in the Architecture section of the portfolio.

Tools: Autocad Architecture, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator
