Gaston Thier - French sculptor and artist exhibits at Konstrundan in Skåne

We are pleased to exhibit some work, sculptures and paintings by Gaston Thier from France during konstrundan in Österlen 2-11 April 2010.

Gaston Thier graduated from "Les Beaux Arts" in Nice 1985. He is now working  as an art teacher in Paris

Gaston cannot be here during konstrundan, but we continue to show his work throughout the spring and Gaston is planning to come to us in May.

"Aux premières heures du printemps, alors qu'éclot leur intime beauté, elles s'exhibent sans pudeur sous nos yeux émerveillés. Sexes multicolores aux senteurs envirantes, elles appellent la terre entière à les désirer, du plus petit insecte à l'imagination des hommes.
Fragiles catins, condamnées à ne survivre que le temps de l'amour, auxquelles il ne manque qu'un visage pour méditer les pensées qu"elles éveillent en nous. Celles-ci sont-elles vraiment de l'art? Qu'import du moment qu'elles vous envoûtent!"

From Lövestad, going towards Klasaröd, continue approx: 1.5 kilometers, you will enter Heingetorp, turn right onto Bysdammsvägen, continue about 300 meters, at a white mailbox on your left, turn right, go up the hill, on the other side of the hill you have arrived.
